Ahmir is a hot new act on the R&B scene with a new album, The Gift, coming out on April 10, 2007. The group has already started establishing a presence in the industry, with its first single “Welcome To My Party,” being placed at #19 on Billboard’s Year End R&B Singles Sales Chart. The track was also declared eligible for a Soul Train Music Award. R&B Haven recently had the chance to interview the group on its musical background and plans for the album.
